Job Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Develop and execute visual concepts for various media, including print materials (brochures, flyers, posters annual reports), digital platforms (websites, social media), promotional items (organization giveaways, event materials and multimedia projects.
- Create graphics, logos, illustrations, and other visual assets that effectively communicate brand messages.
- Ensure consistency in visual design across all channels, maintaining a strong brand identity.
- Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit designs.
- Stay updated on design trends and best practices.
Website Administrator and Maintenance:
- Develop user-friendly and visually appealing website designs.
- Implement and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Optimize website for performance and user experience.
- Work closely with IT to ensure adherence to technical compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on web design trends and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members to understand their needs and ensure a cohesive online presence.
- Present design concepts and receive feedback effectively.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field.
- Experience in graphic design and website administration.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant website platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Strong understanding of design principles, brand guidelines, typography, color theory, and visual communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve design and technical issues.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Estimate project timelines and costs.
- Track progress of projects and identify potential issues.
