Meet is excited to be partnered with a key client of ours, a privately held, full-service Healthcare Communications agency, on a new VP or SVP, Account Services position within their Medical Communications division. This agency has won a key piece of new business and is growing across the board; Widely recognized for their employee-centric culture this is an awesome opportunity to join and lead an established team!
As VP / SVP of Account Services, you will serve as a leader who manages the Account Services team (~15) and contributes to the broader business by overseeing tactical planning, financial management, and resourcing. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic partner to clients and actively drive organic / new business opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Client Relationship Management : Establish and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients, leveraging scientific and commercial expertise to address client needs and anticipate challenges.
- Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic direction to account teams, offering problem-solving support and anticipating client concerns, while promoting forward-thinking and action-oriented solutions.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with Client Service and Scientific Leads to develop and review client strategies, ensuring seamless coordination and effective resource utilization across teams.
- Effective Communication : Handle difficult client conversations with professionalism, maintaining positive relationships while providing clear, constructive advice and managing expectations.
- Client Growth & Industry Trends : Stay informed on industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for client growth and proposing innovative solutions to enhance client strategies.
- Project & Resource Management : Lead and direct account teams, ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately and providing hands-on support as needed, while driving strategic and tactical growth within accounts.
- Financial Oversight : Manage account financials, ensuring accurate forecasting, budget adherence, and timely reporting, while mentoring the team on best practices for financial management.
- Business Development & Networking : Play an active role in business development, driving new business opportunities and cultivating existing client relationships for organic growth.
- People Management : Lead by example, providing support, coaching, and mentoring to team members across different regions, ensuring alignment with team goals, development, and cultural awareness.
- Team & Organizational Leadership : Contribute to the recruitment process, participate in resourcing discussions, and manage a global team, ensuring regular feedback and career development for all direct reports.
