The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description This Treatment Team Leaders (TTL) will provide administrative oversight to 3 assigned IRA’s (Livingston, Neighborhood, and Cove Rd) and 2 Day Programs (Red Hook Day Hab and Ulster Day program). The TTL is the critical management link between local senior leadership and the interdisciplinary treatment teams. There are approximately 60 individuals served in the 3 IRAs and 2 Day Habs. There are a total of approximately 70 staff assigned to the 3 IRAs and 2 Day Programs. A Psychologist, an HS2 Res Hab Coordinator, and a DA3 all directly report to this TTL. This TTL is responsible for indirectly overseeing the clinical process by monitoring other clinical staff's care such as nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Dietitians.Duties include but are not limited to: • Monitoring and oversight of regulatory requirements to ensure certification of homes and programs are maintained.• Monitors all budgetary concerns in the IRA’s and programs as well as the essential maintenance of records.• Ensures management of incidents and abuse reporting, and implementation of protective measures for all individuals and staff.• Monitors and provides supports to the 3 IRAs and 2-day programs in infection control.• is responsible for ensuring that staff perform all necessary duties as described in the job tasks and standards and ensures that the individuals treatment plans are adhered to.• As the primary liaison between residential, clinical, and Medicaid service provider, the TTL ensures that communication occurs in an effective manner to best serve the needs of the individuals.• ensures that all residential habilitation plans are implemented as written, and data recorded as required.• In addition to regularly being available to their team off hours, the TTL serves as administrator on call on a rotating basis.• The TTL ensures: Home is well maintained, and clean and free of hazards.Staff is trained and knowledgeable regarding policies and procedures.Residential habilitation plans are implemented, and progress is monitored.Direct Care staff provide the supports to the individuals at their sites.High Risk Behavior support plans and terms of probation or parole are implemented as written.Community activities occur in accordance with mandates in terms of frequency and types, and taking into consideration the personal preferences of the individuals served in 7 IRA's and 2 program centers.Moves forward the HCBS Waiver initiative throughout the team.Participation of Administrator on Duty system is required. Additional Comments • If you are currently a New York State employee serving in a permanent competitive qualifying title and eligible for a transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, you may be appointed to this title as a permanent competitive employee.Travel within the five-county catchment area will be required in the performance of the duties of the position. This may include a state-owned vehicle, as available, or the employee’s own car.
