Position: Business Process Analyst (Non-IT)
Compensation: $115-$125K
Position Overview: As a Business Process Analyst you will play a key role in optimizing and streamlining business operations. You will be responsible for consulting with business stakeholders to understand and refine current business processes, mapping those processes to identify opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that operational needs are met efficiently. Your expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP (Finance/Inventory) will be instrumental in enhancing our supply chain and financial workflows, improving operational efficiency, and fostering better user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Mapping: Analyze and document current and future business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Work with business stakeholders to design and implement process changes that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- WMS & SAP Integration: Leverage knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP (Finance/Inventory) to improve supply chain and financial processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to define business process requirements and help align them with system capabilities.
- Change Management Support: Assist in managing process and system changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed process maps, business requirements, and other supporting documentation for system implementations and process improvements.
- Prioritization Support: Help prioritize business process improvements and system requests, balancing competing requirements and aligning with strategic goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing reviews of business processes and systems, recommending enhancements to drive operational excellence.
- Vendor Interaction: Collaborate with external vendors and third-party developers to ensure systems and solutions align with business process requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in business process analysis or improvement, with at least 2-3 years focusing on process mapping, optimization, and system integration.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their integration into business processes.
- Knowledge of process modeling tools and methodologies.
- Experience with SAP (Finance and Inventory modules) for process optimization.
- Process Expertise: Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPMN.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
