Job Title: Recruiter and Onboarder
Job Summary:
- Interface between employees, supervisor, and appropriate executive level personnel
- Provide day-to-day operational support as pertains to specific region and statewide recruitment efforts
- Provide training and coaching for Caregivers
- To provide administrative assistance for the hiring and on-boarding of new employees
- To provide ongoing administrative support for identified human resource functions
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Hiring
o In conjunction with the Agency Manager and Director of Personnel Development or designate, and with the supporting assistance of program team members, provide oversight and compliance regarding the ongoing need to recruit, hire and train Caregivers, including protocols and processes
- Training & Orientation
o Coordinate, support and facilitate the agency’s orientation and training efforts for Caregivers
- Regulatory Compliance
o In conjunction with the Director of Personnel Development maintain knowledge of and ensure company compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations concerning the operation and provision of home care service personnel including but not limited to all ongoing requirements for continuing professional education
- Regional Recruitment Efforts
o In coordination with designated local agency and/or agencies, provide general and strategic recruitment efforts including, but not limited to:
Coordinating with Agency Managers, Director of Personnel Development and/or their designate to provide direction and support to the recruitment process, including proper documentation and operational efficiency
Creatively generate and maintain a list of recruitment conduits and contacts for potential recruitment, including, for example county work force centers, training schools, churches, etc.
Facilitate and/or support strategic and/or urgent, targeted recruitment efforts
In conjunction with Department of Personnel Development assure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal Department of Labor hiring laws and regulations
- Community Relations
o Actively cultivate strong communication/relationships throughout assigned region with those entities and/or individuals that advance the reputation and reach of the company
o Provide tacit support for business development and/or marketing efforts that are synergistic with the primary functions of the position
- Reporting & Meetings
o Participate in regular Personnel Development meetings and/or sub-meetings as outlined by the Director of Personnel Development or designate
- Additional Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
o Documentation
Assure that all delegated Client and Employee Personnel Files are complete, current and in compliance with relevant state and federal regulations
o Cross Train
Cross train to learn specified responsibilities of other team member positions as directed by the Director of Personnel Development

Education:
- High School/GED or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of three successful years in a managerial role with at least one year of supervisory experience in the provision of medical or non-medical home care
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Essential physical requirements, such as standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, or typing.
- Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds; medium - up to 50 pounds; heavy - over 50 pounds.
- May be required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
Travel Requirements:
- 75% statewide travel
