Peoplelink Staffing has an immediate need for Pickers/Packer to start Monday, May 8th in Fairburn/Union City, GA! This is a temp to perm opportunity with a new packaging company.
Pay is $16/hr
Must be able to pass a preemployment background check - no felonies for violence or sexual related crimes.
Must pass oral drug screen- Marijuana will not be included in test.
Steel or composite boots/shoes needed.
Hours- 8-hour Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with OT that may include Saturdays depending on production needs.

Essential Duties:
- Move material across the warehouse by hand or pallet jack (manual or electric).
- Pick correct quantities and parts around locations in the pick/pack area based on pick lists to create mixed pallets.
- Deliver complete pallets to the designated staging area using a pallet jack (manual or electric).
- Help re-stock packing area as needed.
- Complete paperwork per work instructions as required.
- Inspect every completed pallet with material to ensure accuracy, complete deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to read and match words and numbers.
- Reliable transportation.
- Electric pallet jack experience a plus.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to write and read English and do simple math.
- Ability to pass drug test and background test.
- Flexible to work overtime on weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift, push or pull and handle (10-50 pounds) as necessary to operation.
- Typical days include walking, squatting, and lifting. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be driving power equipment and lifting heavy cases (up to 50lbs) in extreme climates depending on your city.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
