Furnace Tender
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the Lake Odessa area within the metals recycling industry.
Furnace Tender Job Summary:
- $17.50 per hour
- 6PM-6AM
- 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
- Controlling of the furnace machine to melt metal.
- Visual inspecting of parts for proper quality.
- Adjusting of the machines to ensure they are operating correctly.
- Attention for safety.
Furnace Tender Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED; preferred.
- Manufacturing experience of at least 1 year.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to withstand being close to furnace for short periods of time.
- Ability to lift maximum of 50# throughout shift.
- Experience with loader equipment.
