Industrial Equipment Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer and distributor of alloys in the La Porte, IN area, is seeking equipment operator to join their team!

Industrial Equipment Operator Key responsibilities :
- Review work orders and efficiently use material handling equipment (forklift, overhead crane, vacuum lift) to retrieve materials
- Start and monitor machines, checking hydraulic pumps and ensuring optimal operation
- Charge materials into machines using hand controls
- Crop head / tail scrap off coils and manage scrap material placement
- Use small hand tools to adjust shear gap and measure product dimensions
- Inspect and document mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Conduct quality checks on products using micrometers and calipers
- Strong computer skills and basic data entry
- Ability to conduct basic visual quality inspections
- Pay $19 up to $21 p / h
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
2 years of manufacturing experience required
2 years' experience with production equipment preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
