What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions?
PeopleLink Staffing has a client in High Point is in need of a Quality Control Technician for Metal Fabrication.
Shift : 1st
Pay : DOE
Responsibilities :
- Ensures product complies with applicable specifications, customer and or company defined.
- Perform inspections / test across all stages of production (before, in-process, and final)
- Prepare and maintain inspection / test data for review
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from specifications or standards
- Perform line process audits (LPA, running / workstation production audits) and Production Line Quality Inspections (PLQI)
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- Identify ways to improve existing processes and systems to improve quality and consistency
- Assist in the calibration of quality control equipment
- May inspect equipment and systems used in production process to ensure they work correctly
- Train employees to understand engineering documentation, specifications, follow procedures, and work within systems
- Reports to Quality Engineer / Quality Manager
