Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a CNC Mill Operator in partnership with a prominent client in Hilcrest and Endicott, NY areas.
Experience in set-up from blueprints is preferred.
Must have at least 2 years of CNC operation experience.
Summary
Shifts : 1st
Salary : $18-$25 per hour based on experience.
CNC Milling Operator Job Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine proper cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates.
- Secure workpieces on the milling machine table using appropriate clamping methods.
- Mount and align cutting tools on the milling spindle.
- Monitor machine functions, such as cutting depth, feed rate, and coolant flow, to ensure quality and prevent damage.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and optimal cutting conditions.
- Regularly inspect workpieces using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of the milling machine.
