CNC Milling Operator

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a CNC Mill Operator in partnership with a prominent client in Hilcrest, NY within the aerospace industry. We have positions in both Endicott, NY and Hillcrest NY. The positions are 1st or 2nd shift. Positions are $18-$25 per hour based on experience. Experience in set-up from blueprints is preferred. Must have at least 2 years of CNC operation experience
CNC Milling Operator Job Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine proper cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates. 

• Secure workpieces on the milling machine table using appropriate clamping methods. 
• Mount and align cutting tools on the milling spindle. 
• Monitor machine functions, such as cutting depth, feed rate, and coolant flow, to ensure quality and prevent damage. 
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and optimal cutting conditions. 
• Regularly inspect workpieces using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances. 
• Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of the milling machine. 

CNC Milling Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 years of CNC milling experience
• 2 years of industry experience
• Experience with tight tolerances and precise measurement
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
