Field Service Technician – DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
Locations: Sacramento, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Binghamton, NY (with travel to MA or NY for training)
Industry: Security Imaging CT (Computed Tomography) Systems
Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
Job Summary:
We have several openings for a Field Support Technician to support our Security Imaging CT systems. In this position, you will be responsible for building good relationships with the customers while performing new system installs, servicing existing systems, or providing system maintenance in the field.
Responsibilities:

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction.
• Conduct follow-up calls with customers to ensure satisfaction of work.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field.
• Demonstrate good electronic repair troubleshooting methodology and maintain at least an intermediate technical level of product knowledge.
• Read and follow electrical/mechanical schematics to assist in isolating fault to root cause component/assembly.
• Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work, and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
• Order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time.
• Review all logs for open issues and prepare formal reports as necessary.
• Participate in Service Sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs as needed.
• Assess product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommend modifications or improvements.
• Participate in site surveys, pilot program service activities, attend meetings, champion special projects, and prepare exclusive reports.
• Maintain clear and concise business communication proficiency, both oral and written.
• Establish and maintain a close relationship with senior level FSS’s and Product Managers to support the needs of Sure Scan Corp.
• Remain aware of current technical trends.
• Exercise every available measure to control and minimize costs.
• Travel and work hours outside of Monday-Friday are required.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Related Trade Certification (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or Military Training (electrical, mechanical, electronics).
• Minimum of two years of experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Basic technical knowledge of X-Ray technologies.
• Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn.
• While supervision is not considered a primary responsibility of this position, there may be instances where supervision of others on a project basis may be required.
