Production Operator

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Production Operator in Mt Vernon, IN.

If you have experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), it's a definite plus!

Position: Production Operator
Location: Mt. Vernon, IN
Pay: $20.00

Shifts:
1st: 6am-2:30pm
2nd: 2pm-10:30pm
3rd: 10pm-6am
Other shifts may vary, shift flexibility a must.

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and safety.
• Must demonstrate ability to properly operate equipment, perform equipment set-up/change-over/cleanups, assist in preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems to achieve optimum production levels
• Operating machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
• Wearing hairnets, steel-toed boots, and other necessary food safety equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaborating with team members to achieve production goals.
• Following safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.
• High School Diploma 1 plus years of production experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift.
