The primary responsibility of the Talent Specialist is to create and model a positive experience for candidates and associates. This role will successfully present Peoplelink as best in class in the markets we serve.
Position Responsibilities
- Engages & participates with the recruiting/sourcing using all resources effectively
- Accurately document in real-time client job order requests and keep updated within operational software system
- Performing applicant interviews to include contignent job offer & required document process
- Sourcing, screening, interviewing 10 candidates weekly
- Manages & performs drug screen process and compliance
- Ensure completion and compliance of background checks for new hires
- Facilitates and conducts company & client orientations to qualified candidates
- Procures appropriate employment documents
- Administering & adhering to the E-verify process and compliance
- Personnel file maintenance of both Primary and Secondary files as well as electronic file into the operational software system
- Responsible for documenting all candidate or associate communications into the operational software system
- Facilitates employee separations along with feedback surveys and exit interviews
- Assist with administrating mass employee communications
- Administer applicant testing as required
- Coordinate and procure candidate prior employment reference or verification
- Complete, process and maintain paperwork for all Workers’ Compenstation Injuries & Unemployment claims as required
- This position must have knowledge of and be able to perform all Recruiter duties
- All other duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Functions
- Bilingual prefered
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/projects
- Strong problem solving skills
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to effectively build relationships
- Strong customer service orientation
- At least one year of previous customer service experience or appropriate business experience
- Above average communication skills to communicate effectively with applicants and employees
- A cooperative, team oriented demeanor, yet also able to work independently
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong PC skills as these are critical to your success in this role
