What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Verification Engineer position at PeopleLogic?
5 to 10 years of related design / test engineering experience with hands on experience on testing and validation utilizing the following platforms : HITL, SITL, system level (preferable Locomotive or Automotive)
Experience in developing test procedures for control software, electrical and electronic equipment, systems, and components.
Strong understanding of general control design principles including various communication protocols (Serial RS232 / 422, CAN or ethernet).
Strong communication / presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
Ability to work "hands-on" in test labs and on locomotives.
Experience with sysML modeling tools like Magic draw, doors (or any other requirement management tool).
Experience with Simulink test, writing python scripts, NI-Lab View, or standard automation tools.
Experience and understanding of the operational interworking’s of loco control systems and database management systems used to support complex control systems
Experience of testing in various areas like engine control, traction control or battery management system related to rail, or automotive industry is desirable.
