Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment on construction sites. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as loaders/dozers, etc. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on the construction site.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with graders, bulldozers, backhoes etc.
- Ability to work effectively on a terminal site with a focus on safety and teamwork.
- Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods and perform manual labor as needed.
