Job Description & Requirements

CMA / RMA Requirements :
Experience : 1-3 years of related work experience.
Education Requirements : Diploma in Medical Assisting
Licenses / Certifications required : National certification in Medical Assisting from an approved organization OR Certificate / Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed. Total online courses are not acceptable.
Skills required : taking vital signs, blood draws, medical terminology, relative experience, fast-paced office experience
Skills that would be a plus : EPIC experience, active BLS, active CPR
Must pass a background check / / medical test / / skill test / / drug test
CMA / RMA Responsibilities :
Duties : Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination, document in Electronic Medical Record system, take vital signs, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, perform on-site labs, process reference labs to off-site laboratory, give injections, and perform required quality tasks.
Shift Information : Shifts vary | Typically 5x8s | Weekend Rotations
