As a Journey Level Electrician with People Ready Skilled Trades, you'll support a large network of electrical contractors in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Note : The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities :
- Read and follow assembly and testing instructions step by step, recording results as they are achieved
- Build electrical control panels using schematic and wiring diagrams
- Install and label various sensors using P&ID
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and work areas throughout the day
- Maintain PPE discipline and tool safety at all times
Qualifications :
CA Journey State Certificatoin, Electrical Trainee Card, or Associate degree or technical certification in electrical program or comparable experience with electrical systemsProficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, machinery, and systems in compliance with relevant codes and safety standardsCollaboration with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate work activities, share information, and resolve issues effectivelyUnderstanding of electrical circuits, components, and systems, including AC / DC theory, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprintsAbility to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and drawings to perform tasks effectively and maintain accurate records of work performedAdherence to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment, including lockout / tagout, arc flash safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage Bonus Certifications and skillsOSHA 30 hour trainingForklift training certificate a plusAptitude to manage partsInnate understanding of materials Relevant fieldsTechnical school students and graduatesElectrical technician in manufacturingConstruction (electrical technicians work on residential and commercial)Telecommunications electrical technicianThis position requires physical activities including climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, crouching to work on equipment, operating machinery and occasionally lifting and carrying loads up to 50 lbsa36KY0000004KPiYAM 0636 - Hayward, CA
