PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring Oregon Licensed Journeyman Electricians to support a multi- family project in the Milwaukie, Oregon! If you're a skilled in worker in this trade and ready to work, we want to hear from you!

The hourly rate for this position is $60-$65 / hr. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair various types of raceway and cable tray systems electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes
  • Worked with all types of Rigid Metal Conduit' RMC and IMC to include the following...

Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT)

  • Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing (ENT)
  • Flexible Metal Conduit (FMC and LFMC).
  • Rigid PVC Conduit
  • Knowledge of NEC a plus.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, electrical equipment and hand tools and manuals

    • Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area
  • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems – for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action
  • Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
  • Must have a current Oregon General Journeyman License or a reciprocating license for the State of Oregon.
