Note : The hourly rate for this position is $31 - $37 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities :
Inspect and assess surfaces to be painted
Remove old paint or finishes using scrapers, chemical compounds, or other methods
Fill holes, cracks, and imperfections with putty or plaster
Sand surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish
Clean and prep surfaces by washing, removing debris, and applying primers or sealers
Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Mix and match paint colors and finishes according to job specifications
Apply multiple coats of paint as needed to achieve desired coverage and finish
Use masking tape, drop cloths, and other protective coverings to prevent paint from damaging surrounding surfaces
Work at heights off of scaffolds, ladders, lifts, etc
Qualifications :
E-Verify : Eligible to work in the U.S.
Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial and / or residential construction sites required
In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area
Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your job site
OSHA 10 and / or 30 is a plus
