Responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
- Inspect machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
- Clean and repair as needed.
- Travel to assist with repairing/refurbishing heat exchangers.
- Lodging and meal expenses are covered.
- Will travel in company vehicles.
- On-the-job training provided.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum three years production experience preferred.
- Familiarity with production machinery.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Strong computer and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to remain stationary for long periods.
- Able to stoop, bend, and crouch; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel outside IL area.
- Background check and drug screening required.
