Note : The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities :
Hours : Monday - Friday 40 hours
Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
Install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Installing power supply wiring and conduits such as EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable trays
Connect wiring in electrical circuits ensuring compatibility of components
Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit breaker panels, etc.)
Communicating and educating customers about available options
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or install new systems.
Qualifications :
Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as the ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
High standard of integrity and professionalism
Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications required by our client
Communication and customer service skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Proven experience as an electrician
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the residential field required
The position requires a drug screen
