• What you'll be doing as a Trash Helper : Ride on the back of a garbage collection truck, collecting solid waste on a designated route.Direct the driver when pulling out into traffic and backing up, and guide incoming vehicles to the dumping area at solid waste disposal facilitiesHave knowledge of standardized work routines for manual tasks and the operation of collection vehicles in solid waste operationsCheck the operating and safety conditions of vehicles, perform minor servicing, and report needed repairs or maintenanceAssist the driver with various tasks during waste runs and be able to lift 100 lbs many times throughout the dayBe able to work in all weather conditionsAvailable shifts : Shift Timings : 3rd Shift (Night)Job requirements : Knowledge of work routines and procedures in collecting solid waste materials for disposal, reuse, and recyclingAble to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climbFlexibility to work in all weather conditionsBackground check and drug screening requiredReady to take control of the way you work?Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today.
