What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Operations Specialist position at Peoples Bancorp (OH)?
Assist with fixed assets, prepaid and accrual reconciliations, sales tax, IOLTA & REALTA, other reconcilements. This position involves a wide range of duties related to commercial and savings accounts, such as processing overdrafts and stop payments, reconcilement of bank related accounts and g / ls, computer-oriented operations, some training, preparing reports and assisting other departments. Back-up to accounts payable transactions for the bank. This includes review and verification of all bills for accuracy, check preparation, and correspondence mailing. Researches and resolves all open payable problems. Maintains all payable records. Must provide exemplary customer service to all branches and departments.
Education and / or Experience
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable and bank accounting and / or possess a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
