ROLE
The Application Developer is responsible for supporting the development of secure, scalable, and user-friendly financial applications and online banking platforms. This role combines banking knowledge with strong technical skills in .NET, C#, and Java, ideal for someone who understands financial systems and enjoys building high-performance web applications. This position plays a key role in developing internal banking tools, ensuring both stability and innovation in our digital financial services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position is responsible for the following functions:
•Design, build, and maintain banking and web applications using .NET (C#), Java, and modern web technologies
•Work closely with product managers, operations teams, and business analysts to translate banking needs into technical solutions
•Maintain and enhance online banking platforms and back-office systems
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, security, and system integrity
•Debug, test, and deploy applications in high-availability environments
•Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
Various other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in software development
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Good understanding of financial systems, banking transactions and/or core banking platforms, familiar with RESTful APIs, web services, and secure coding practices, working knowledge of web development tools, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React, understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), modern architecture patterns, regulatory and compliance standards in financial software preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years developing web applications in banking industry
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Attention to detail, self-motivation, self-management, problem-solving, efficient time management, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, project management, good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, excellent documentation skills, and analytical thinking

WORKING CONDITIONS
General professional office environment with climate control and adequate lighting. Regular hours outside of bank operation hours to complete tasks as necessary.
