Description
Provides exceptional customer service to Branch network as a Floating Teller. Supports Business Centers and Peoples Bank goals, mission statement, new initiatives and customer-focused sales culture. Processes customer transactions in a professional and efficient manner. Responsible for handling customer transactions quickly, efficiently, and in a courteous manner within established policies and procedures. Identifies and assists with customer needs in a proficient and professional manner. Disburses cash accurately and maintains a cash drawer within established limit, balancing it daily.
Qualifications
General Qualifications
Required Education/Knowledge:
- High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred Knowledge:
- Additional banking courses
Required Experience:
- Six months to one-year cash-handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
Preferred Experience:
- Bank operations experience to assist in understanding why procedures are set and followed
Required Skills:
- Ability to travel by automobile extensively within branch network to provide support where needed
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Proficient on calculator, PC and keyboard
- Familiarity with data entry/retrieval
