This position will supervise and coordinate operational activities and personnel to meet the operating goals of the market area served. The Market Operations Manager is responsible for the overall deposit and operational functions of their location. The person will have excellent customer service skills in person, electronically and on the phone. The position requires experience in deposit account opening. The manager ensures the employees offer excellent customer service, confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operational problems and explains procedural changes or practices. Coach their staff on how to improve efficiency and ensure conformance with standard bank procedures and practices. Controls supply of money on hand to meet branch's daily needs and legal requirements, does daily funds management. Interviews, selects, and hires new employees. Compiles required and special reports on operating functions of department or branch.

The desired candidate will have 2-5 Years of banking experience in a supervisory role. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

High School Diploma/GED
