- Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of direct work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position or performing duties closely related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP.
- Experience in SAP EAM (Asset management, and Resource Management and long-term and short-cycle work scheduling).
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to champion a clear vision for SAP EAM systems to be implemented and the manner for which they will support business unit processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Utilities Solutions e.g. SAP ERP Solutions e.g. FI/CO, MM, and HR/Payroll.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with business partners, IT team members and senior management.
- Expert knowledge of SAP software applications and hardware technologies. Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies; leads application of new technologies.
- Expert verbal, written, organizational, analytical and presentation skills. Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability leading teams in support of business process analysis efforts and educating others in the proper application of tools and techniques.

- Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and Information Technology architecture.
- Provides expert knowledge of work order lifecycle management with Work and Asset Management end-to-end solutions.
- Provides Plant Maintenance expertise with business and technical processes
- Demonstrates experience with integrations of complex solutions between SAP technologies and non-SAP systems.
- Accountable for the overall end-to-end SAP Functional EAM Solutions Design. Ensures that system requirements are translated effectively into solutions and ensures architectural assurance is performed by overseeing the planning, integration, reporting, and standard development for the SAP EAM solution Architecture. Collaborate with Enterprise SAP Architects to provide direction so that the organization can make appropriate design decisions.
- Leads, coaches, and mentors the SAP technical teams to ensure the success of SAP EAM improvements.
- Proactively interfaces with business users and IT to provide support for future business initiatives and projects. Actively participates and applies the vision of the SAP EAM solution in short and long-range roadmap planning and sequencing to meet business objectives. For the SAP EAM Domain, facilitates communication and activities between internal IT department and various levels of the organization and outside vendors and consultants. Build consensus between multiple parties and educates business and IT staff on recommended solutions for implementation.
- Drives impact assessment of any major change requests to requirements providing input to the Program Management Team and the appropriate governance/architect review for changes in scope and for the overall solution.
- Responsible for creating and/or maintaining architectural artifacts, policies, standards and procedures to manage information systems architecture (data systems, applications, and technology) which would include: standard development practices, software architecture, system architecture, business intelligence architecture.
- At least one professional certification in specific job-related disciplines preferred in addition to the requirements above.
- Strong demonstrable SAP Experience including full end-to-end project lifecycle in Gas or Electric utility implementations or SAP ERP (Finance, Supply Chain, HR/Payroll) experience highly desirable.
- Experience with Mobile Field Automation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Utilities Solutions e.g. CRM/CCS, ISU Billing, EDM Invoicing, Device Management, or FICA.
- Ability to develop and maintain solution architecture documents, establish policies & standards to meet the developing needs of the business.
- Ability to understand business requirements and manage conversion into designs, configuration & functional specification whilst maintaining integrity of overall application design.
- Ability to assess emerging business & regulatory changes and articulate how these can positively impact the Company.
- Experience with integration of external systems: ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS), PowerPlan, GPS/Barcoding technologies, and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) solutions.
- Experience with integration technologies: SAP PI/PO, Biztalk, SSIS.
- Provides expertise with SAP Compatible Units as they relate to asset management.
- Direct supervisory responsibility for assigned SAP Functional analysts; may also supervise contract resources.
- Responsible for resource management, staff augmentation, and vendor relationships and ensures there is adequate support for all assigned applications for both day-to-day operations and on-call support.
- May serve as a backup to the Manager.
