We are a $573M Illinois Community Bank seeking an energetic, motivated Accredited Farm Manager to lead and direct Professional Farm Management Services Department and to oversee portfolio of North Central Illinois farmland properties.
Responsibilities :
- Communicate regularly with farmland owner clients, farm operators, contractors, accountants, attorneys, and others to accomplish client farm ownership goals
- Prepare Farm Operating Plans, including but are not limited to the following :
o Crop selection & crop rotation plans
o Soil Test Scheduling and development of Farm Fertility Plans
o Crop seed evaluation and planting populations
o Herbicide selection / Fungicide selection / Insecticide selection
o 50 / 50 Crop Share leases
o Custom Farming operating agreements
o Cash Rent Leases
o Hybrid / Variable Cash Rent Leases
o Liability insurance / Fire & Extended Coverage Insurance / Multi-Peril Crop Insurance
o Apply / Sign contracts for USDA PLC / ARC Farm Program
o Apply / Sign contracts for USDA Conservation Reserve Program contracts
o Annual Income & Expense Budgets
o Annual Cash Flow Budgets
o Income Distribution Budgeting
o Capital Project Budgeting for long-term farm improvements
