What are the responsibilities and job description for the Iowa Wastewater Maintenance Professional position at PeopleService, Inc.?
As a maintenance technician or certified water/wastewater operator with PeopleService, Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering quality services to our clients in Worth County, Nora Springs, and surrounding areas.
The starting salary is based on certification and experience. To succeed in this position, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-High School education in water/wastewater (desired but not mandatory)
- Iowa Water and/or Wastewater certification (an advantage)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical skills to maintain and repair water/wastewater equipment
- Ability to reside within a 10-30 minute response time
- Capacity to work independently with minimal onsite supervision
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
You will be expected to work weekends and on-call based on a rotating schedule, including after-hour emergency callouts. We look forward to receiving your application.
