Working in the water/wastewater industry is a rewarding career. Water is a vital resource to consumers and to the environment - and PeopleService's professional water/wastewater operators ensure that this resource is safe and does not degrade the environment.
Examples of duties to be performed:
- Monitor meters, gauges and accurately report those readings.
- Collect and test water samples.
- Clean and maintain mechanical equipment, tanks, filter beds and other work areas.
- Must have the ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule based on water production demands.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Mechanical knowledge
- Required to live within a 10–30-minute response time.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Ideal candidate would have experience in a related field such as plumbing and pipefitting. Also, experience repairing and maintaining related equipment, blowers, pumps, etc. is a plus.
Salary is dependent on certification level and experience.
