Job Summary: PeopleService is seeking a licensed Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of complex water and wastewater equipment and treatment processes.

- Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and pumping facilities efficiently and safely.
- Monitor equipment performance, interpret data, and adjust processing requirements as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair machinery and equipment, and update records of completed work.
- Conduct laboratory tests, analyze samples, and prepare chemical solutions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logging of all pertinent information.
- Represent the company with a courteous and business-like attitude, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues fairly and promptly.
- Evaluate market potential, solicit new business, and perform meter readings as required.
- Order and manage materials, supplies, and contract services in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- MN water/wastewater certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills to repair related water and wastewater equipment.
- Ability to work independently, establish harmonious working relationships, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Required to live within 10-30 minutes of Hinckley and work weekends and on-call based on a rotating schedule.
