Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery such as conveyors, packaging machines, and production lines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs, repairs, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to maintain continuous operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure readiness for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
