What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at PeopleShare?

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in a Higher Education environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with university financial systems such as Ellucian Banner, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in working with large datasets.
Experience with Power BI or comparable data analysis tools is preferred.
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data.

Assisting in the development of annual University operating budgets.

Preparing short- and long-term revenue and expense projections.

Creating and maintaining reporting models for internal and external stakeholders.

Conducting ad hoc analyses as requested by senior leadership.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree is preferred. However, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

At least two years of relevant experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or a related field.

Six years of progressive, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Position Details :

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
