Yard Spotter / Forklift Operator Roles Located in Aurora, IL !

- Pay Rate : $21.87-$23.17 per hour
- Unloading and loading trailers using Stand Up forklift.
- Verifying inbound / outbound shipments
- Under close supervision, this position is responsible for positioning truck tractors and trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation by moving equipment to and from loading docks, maintenance bays and other designated areas.
- Perform morning yard check for Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Spot loaded containers indoors for unloading as requested or assigned.
- Must break all seals on containers and properly dispose of them as well as open and secure container doors prior to spotting in designated warehouse doors.
- Pull empty containers from designated doors and drop them in designated yard spot locations.
- Always confirm with warehouse lead via radio or phone prior to pulling any containers or trailers from warehouse doors for safety reasons.
- Spot empty trailers into doors as requested or assigned.
- Pull preloaded trailers from dock doors, close trailer doors and park in designated yard spot locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection of yard spotter at beginning and end of every shift.
- REQUIRED : Prior Spotter / Yard Spotter experience PLUS Stand-Up forklift experience.
- Must be willing and able to cross-train in other areas
Job Details for Weekend Shift Yard Spotter / Forklift Operator :
Shift Schedule : Tuesday - Friday 5PM to 3 : 30AM
Shift Schedule : Saturday - Monday 5 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM
