Key Responsibilities:
- Perform organic synthesis and chemical analysis under the guidance of R&D Chemists.
- Conduct laboratory tests using established procedures and assist in test development as needed.
- Prepare reports, memos, and presentations to effectively communicate findings.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure accurate testing, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Manage laboratory inventory, ensuring an organized and safe workspace.
- Stay updated on safety regulations and participate in safety-related activities.
- Understand additive chemistry, including component interactions and their impact on performance and stability.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to process development through keen observation and discussion.
- Adhere to ISO documentation requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum: High school diploma with relevant laboratory experience or demonstrated chemistry aptitude.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data analysis tools.
