What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Cryptographic Items (CCI) Property Manger position at PeopleTec, Inc.?

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a property management specialist to assist our Army Aviation customer across multiple program offices and platforms. The candidate will assist our customer with the control, handling, and accountability of CCI (controlled cryptographic items) component procedures as well as work with various Program Management offices and supported units for the same. Our specialist will also support the customer with the establishment of sustainment procedures and processes of both COMSEC and CCI as well as assist with the control and handling of both. The successful candidate will also:

  • Work to support the operational security doctrine that has been approved by the government.
  • Research procedures and processes pertaining to the required cataloging and classification of CCI assets.
  • Support the government with investigatory processes and procedures should the need arise.
  • Assist the government with accountability inspections, inventories and reporting of sensitive materials and equipment.
  • Assist the government with additional duties as assigned with acquisition logistics tasks.
  • Ensure that all cryptographic items are managed according to stringent security protocols, preventing unauthorized access and potential breaches.
  • Guarantee adherence to DoD regulations, policies and procedures related to CCI handling, storage, distribution, and disposal.
  • In case of any security incidents involving CCIs, coordinate response efforts and assists investigating officers.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory tracking of all cryptographic assets within PEO AVN’s purview.

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience with Army COMSEC and CCI
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Property Management
  • Ability to work well in a command level environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its applications
  • Ability to compile data and provide necessary metrics or performance highlights
  • Communication skills to maintain a positive on-going relationships with internal / external customers
  • Ability to conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings with internal / external customers
  • Basic knowledge of conducting security incident / violation investigations and developing a final report
  • Travel: 10% or less
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Experience may be considered in lieu of education)

 

 

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Primarily administrative, light lifting may be required
