Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking an Information Technology (IT) Specialist to support our Ft. Bliss, TX location.The candidate will provide Information Technology (IT) support to the Capabilities Development & Integration Cell (CDI Cell) at Ft Bliss, Texas, as a Systems Administrator for classified and unclassified computer operating systems and network operating systems. Duties Include:
- Conduct software and hardware troubleshooting of printers, servers, networks and computers
- Conduct Information Assurance/Risk Management Framework activities
- Manage or assist in the management of the COMSEC Program
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot video and phone teleconferencing systems in support of CDI-Cell operations and outside training events
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 to 3 Years in Information Technology (IT)
- Experience in installing, testing, and supporting information systems and/or networks
- Must possess specific experience in administration and/or support of computer operating systems and/or network operating systems
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must have and maintain an appropriate DoDI 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) certification for the appointed duty level
- Security
- Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Travel: 10%
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Desired Skills:
- Top Secret clearance
- Degree in an IT related field
- Network and/or A
- Active Directory Management
- Server experience
- Experience managing desktop machines
- eMASS/RMF experience
- COMSEC management
- Network switches (basic troubleshooting)
- Knowledge in software/hardware troubleshooting printers, servers and computers
- Experience with the remedy ticketing system (BMC)
- Set up, maintenance, and operation of the Cisco VTC system
