Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a System Administrator to support our Huntsville, AL location.
We are seeking a System Administrator interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks by designing, configuring, installing, and securing information systems for development and testing. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or similar technology
- Cloud computing using Azure, AWS, or similar technology
- Linux servers, domain controllers, network storage devices, HP or Dell servers
- Linux Operating System Administration, e.g., RHEL8 (3 years)
- Designing, configuring, and installing information systems including routers, switches, storage systems, and laptops
- Security certification (within 90 days of start)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience in Systems Administration; OR Master’s degree with 3 years professional experience; OR PhD with no experience
Desired Skills:
- Deployment of complete DevSecOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development
- Vulnerability remediation and security management including system hardening, log management, and configuration management, e.g., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS
- Virtualization, e.g., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
- Issue tracking tools, e.g., GitLab, VersionOne, Agility
