Position Purpose:
Responsible for planning and directing of all daily activities required to ensure the smooth operation of the Golf Course, Pro Shop, Maintenance Team, and Clubhouse facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direction of the entire golf, administrative, and clubhouse operation and staff. Works professionally with the Groundskeeping staff to ensure the course remains in excellent playing condition.
- Responsible for Turfgrass Management and overall maintenance of golf facility
- Responsible for the golf shop retail, food & beverage execution, and property cleanliness and appearance.
- Prepares work schedules and assigns employees areas of responsibility.
- Manage the golf course operations and always protect the company's interests.
- Oversee golf operations, checking guests in and out and use of equipment. Managing tournaments, rules, tee sheet activity, and merchandise inventory.
- Prepare and operate within the monthly financial budgets.
- A leadership focus; always looking for ways to grow net profits and guest satisfaction through tournaments and events.
- Monitors all retail & shop merchandising, F & B cost of sales, purchasing, receiving, pricing, and sales.
- This position will work with Buffalo Run Casino & Resort Team Members to achieve Peoria Tribal goals.
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations.

Education and Experience:
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to supervise.

- Excellent oral and written communication.
- General knowledge of company-specified computer operating software.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with vendors, staff, and the general public.

Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.
