Title : Marketing Coordinator
Brief Description : Works with Business Development Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, generate new clients, and ultimately assist with a diverse clientele base for PPS. Serves as the liaison between the marketing vendors and the Business Development Manager to ensure consistent representation of the brand and image of the company and mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reports to Business Development Manager to strategize targeted marketing to current industries and assist with identification of new industries to offer services to potential new customers
Oversee brand messaging and ensure consistency through all marketing vendors and platforms
Support Business Development Manager in reporting to the Business Development Committee of the quarterly marketing efforts of PPS
Analyze return on investments for various campaigns form previous quarter and provide reports
What modifications will be made for upcoming quarter
Long term marketing strategies to help diversify PPS revenue stream
Supports the marketing vendors with feedback during monthly meetings
Provide tools for the sales department to assist with prospecting existing targeted market lists and expanding lists as required by creating both traditional and digital marketing pieces including but not limited to :
Customized emails
Customized ads
Customized flyers
Tradeshow assistance
Quarterly newsletters assistance and follow up emails and tracking
Manage MailChimp account and assist with data analytics from MailChimp
Manage mailing (2 annually)
Board member gifts and VIP gifts
Gaitbelt marketing to include marketing pieces, sales campaigns and executions
Blog uploads to various sources such as Thomasnet profile and other professional profiles
Tradeshow preparation assistance
Stuff a bus
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Engage in everyday business tasks.
Analysis of new business opportunities.
Brainstorm new promotions and sales opportunities.
Research into competitor's services and products.
Assist in preparing for and attending local business events.
Analyze results of marketing and publicity campaigns.
Participate in events and trade shows as required.
Work Conditions :
Must be willing to work 40 hours per week.
All work is done primarily in an office environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Skill to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing.
Skill to research and compile data found on the Internet.
Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful manner in dealing with others.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, organize and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
Ability to pay diligence.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a marketing role
Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
