- Position Type: Performing Arts Support/Coach
- Location: Ironwood High School
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online “Band Safety” course
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online “Concussion in Sports – What You Need to Know” course
- Current Certification in CPR or Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online “CPR and AED training” course
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online “Heat Illness Prevention” course
- Complete required human Resources “required Documentation for Volunteers” https://www.peoriaunified.org/volunteer
- Content area related degree or approved equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
- Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
- Skill in communicating with parents and other Performing Arts professionals
- General knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA (www. https://www.aboda.org/) and Peoria Unified School District #11
- Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
- Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations (https://nfhslearn.com/ ) for training
- Must establish a sense of comradery among our students through teambuilding, fundraising, service projects, etc.
