- Position Type: Non-Supervisory Role Marching Band/Theatre/Choir/Dance
- Location: Cactus High School
Qualifications:- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online “Band Safety” course
- Complete required human Resources “required Documentation for Volunteers” https://www.peoriaunified.org/volunteer
- Leadership skills necessary to serve as a role model for student performers
- Collaboration with Staff in mentoring and coaching student performers. Volunteer Interns will not provide unsupervised support to student performers nor communicate directly with parents.
- Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the activity being coached
- Knowledge of specific injury risks in the activity to be coached
- Knowledge of inspection of facilities and equipment for hazards and implementing necessary measures to prevent injury due to hazards
- Skill in communicating with student performers and other staff members
- Knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by Governing Body (if applicable) and Peoria Unified School District # 11
- Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
- Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations (https://nfhslearn.com/ ) for training
