Paint Technician Prepper Job Description :

A luxury vehicle repair facility is seeking an experienced Paint Technician Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for restoring and rejuvenating high-end vehicles, as well as a strong background in large and electric vehicle painting. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities :

Prepare vehicles for paint by sanding, masking, and priming as necessary

Mix and match paint according to factory color codes and specifications

Operate and maintain paint equipment, including brushes, rollers, airbrushes, dryer lamps and drying ovens

Apply paint using various techniques (e.g., spray, brush, roller) to achieve the desired finish

Ensure paint jobs are completed to a high standard and meet customer expectations

Stay up-to-date with the latest repair and paint trends and techniques

Requirements :

1-2 years of experience in painting large and electric vehicles

Knowledge of paint and varnish types, paint properties, and application methods

Ability to accurately match paint colors to factory specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time

Fluency in Spanish is a plus
