Position Summary
PEP Housing is seeking a Yardi Specialist responsible for providing application support for the Yardi property management systems. The Yardi Specialist will support the organization by ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of data entry, reporting, and system functionality. This role works closely with property management and operations and the accounting manager to enhance operational performance and streamline workflows
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain user access, menus, and security guidelines, and provide primary application and procedural for new employees.
- Provide continuous software support solutions to the property management team in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of all support matters.
- Communicate software and procedural changes to staff.
- Ensure accurate data entry and compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs.
- Troubleshoot and correct technical application issues and suggest improvements in department-specific work procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automate tasks, and improve efficiency using Yardi.
- Interact with team members through multiple platforms including face-to-face interactions, Teams, email and phone communications.
- Collaborate with Assistant Regional Manager regarding developmental training for property management team, and conduct meetings to review procedures and Q&A.
- Integrate new properties into the system (work with compliance and property management) and ensure they are properly set up.
- Generate reports on occupancy, financials, compliance, and resident services for internal use and regulatory submissions.
- Flexibility and eagerness to work in an ever-changing environment that requires meeting the demands of a growing organization.
- Keep current on all Yardi modules and feature updates for system changes to ensure software is understood and utilized to fullest capacity.
- Some travel may be required.

Education, Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of experience in property management or compliance.
- 3 years of experience with Yardi systems.
- Knowledge of government housing subsidy programs.
- Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations, facilitating a smooth and organized workflow.
- Ability to determine urgency of issues.
- Able to think independently and analytically and make recommendations accordingly.
- Maintain confidentiality with discretion.
- Demonstrated integrity on a professional level.
- Must have compassion for the elderly and disabled.
- Requires responsible and organized approach to recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and in a remote work environment.
