Summary:

As a Pepco Warehouse Manager, you will be joining the ranks of logistic professionals who set themselves apart from their peers at other businesses by taking ownership of their department as if it were their own personal small business. As Pepco leaders, we take care of our own and give our team members the tools to succeed whilst overcoming all challenges thrown our way. Your goal will be to operate your warehouse as a professional B2B order fulfillment center while maintaining low error rates, organized housekeeping, efficient inventory management, customer satisfaction and strong employee morale. We are looking for a manager who is not looking for a desk-job and is willing to get their hands dirty, and work side-by-side their teams to accomplish our goals and lead by example.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Pepco Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for walking your warehouse and facilities daily to ensure professional standards of presentability are met. This inspection includes the cleanliness of offices, hallways, training rooms, and bathrooms. This position is also responsible for maintaining an organized receiving schedule, ensuring proper procedures are followed, all received products are stocked in a timely and organized manner. Meeting Pepco Standards with all processes, completing cycle counts, and indepartimental communication are items vital to the success of this position. Additionally, you will supervise a team of warehouse associates. Responsibilities include the hiring process for new warehouse associates, overseeing time and attendance, maintaining proper PTO, and partnering with HR on disciplinary actions.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of the LTL and FTL industries
• Working knowledge of TMS online systems
• 3 years Warehouse leadership experience
• Warehouse & Inventory Management software (Ie DDI, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc)
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience in Gmail and associated Google apps
• Experience and ability to operate Forklifts, Order Pickers, and other warehouse machinery
• Communication skills between departments and management
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and vendors

To succeed at this role, you will need:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years Warehouse leadership experience
• Warehouse & Inventory Management software (Ie DDI, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to lift 55lbs unassisted
