Pepco Sales is a Manufacturers Representative Agency serving residential and commercial markets for new construction, repair and remodel. We operate in TX, OK, AR, LA, and NM. In addition to the traditional outsourced sales agency model, we also distribute goods from over 100,000 sq. ft. of distribution space throughout Texas operating as both a master distributor to the wholesale markets and as an outsourced DC for various manufacturers.

Summary :
Account Managers maintain a territory of approximately 100 account locations and use their Passion and Professionalism to generate and execute plans with each account to grow each account’s share with brands that they support and to grow new brands into those accounts. We demand a high level of business ethics that will generate trust and respect of the Account Manager within the assigned territory.

Duties and Responsibilities :
The Account Manager is the key relationship builder in the organization. Responsible for relationships at wholesale, engineer, builder, or contractor account locations (or combination of those account types). They also collaborate with and assist other sales teams in pull-through efforts in their territory. An elite level of teamwork, cooperation and communication with peers throughout all sales teams is essential for success.
Account Managers train, troubleshoot, plan, prospect, assist, execute and present to Accounts within their territory with the goals of growing influence, expertise, and trust within the marketplace. Collaboration and information sharing is required with Sales Managers, other sales teams, the Customer Service Team, other Account Managers and Manufacturer personnel to share and gather the information needed to run their territory. By actively pursuing these behaviors each day, the ultimate goal of increased sales will be accomplished.
Account Managers at Pepco are expected to
Utilize our CRM in real-time entries throughout their work day.
Use technology to accomplish their sales goals
Creatively utilize and customize marketing resources from our internal team and manufacturers.
Practice leadership and stewardship of their territories by becoming leaders in local trade associations.
Continuously seek out learning opportunities and self educate themselves on the products we represent and competitors to those products.

Familiarity with CRM platforms, Ability to build rapport with clients, Strong negotiation skills, Deadline and detail-oriented, Strong phone etiquette, strong email management skills, creating and executing business plans.
To succeed at this role you will need :
A list of the education, experience and technical, physical or legal requirements needed for the position.
A Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience, Clean driving record, clean credit record.
HVAC and / or Plumbing experience and existing relationships within the industry.
