Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining effective communication with the restaurant staff.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
• Take reservations and maintain an organized reservation system.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• ONE POS system for managing waitlists and reservations efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. POS
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
