This employee works directly with teachers, administrators, students, and parents to assist with the IEP process. Complete any other duties as assigned by the ESE Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Filing and documenting of all ESE documents in ESE Folder (cumulative folder)
- Compile documents for the IEP process.
- Schedule interviews, IEP meetings, and testing for ESE specialists & Administration.
- Assist teachers in distributing and gathering IEP documents and forms.
- Assist in the scheduling of IEP meetings.
- Assist with the maintenance of program documentation as required.
- Distribute IEP copies and ESE documents
- Assist with mail and phone correspondence related to the IEP process.
- Prepare Monitoring Logs, create binders, and make sure they are being maintained.
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Provide coverage for IEP meetings when needed
- Provide additional support in classrooms to support ESE teachers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
Three years of increasing responsibility working in an ESE classroom as an aide or paraprofessional preferred
Degree or professional training in ESE preferred
