Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Human Resource Business Partner will work directly with members of the Pepper leadership team to implement HR strategies to help the business reach their goals and objectives. This multi-faceted role will be capable of working effectively with all levels of employees, must be flexible and adapt to change, possess a strong and clear communication style and a commitment to building the people side of the business. The newly created role will have one direct report.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Developing strategies to drive Talent Management including recruitment onboarding and talent development.
- Build processes to ensure that company attracts and retains top talent.
- Implement tools for performance management including handling performance management plans.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues including acting as a mediator to resolve conflicts and improve workplace relationships.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to lead people insights.
- Work in collaboration with learning and development team across the company to assist and coordinate training locally.
- Maintain and implement talent review to identify key talent and build developing opportunities for high potential employees.
- Coordinate and assist with company sponsored functions.
- Assist employees with questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Work with the marketing department to develop collateral, social media presence and internal communications around campus recruiting and the intern program.
- Other projects assigned by partner responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build recruitment process for field that includes process to recruit from union field to Pepper field leadership.
- Coaching and mentoring
- Position based networking and training program.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related degree required.
- 5 Years experience in the Human Resource field
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, pivot for competing priorities and pay close attention to details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
